Principles of the pelvic floor in exercise
Principles of the core canister and management of intra-abdominal pressure
Deeper subjective assessment — the questions you need to ask when symptoms occur in dynamic activity
Using goal setting effectively to gain buy-in to the management plan
Indications that functional assessment is required
Preparing for objective assessment — informed valid consent, setting up the space, maintaining patient dignity

Who is this course for?

Hatch PRO is for registered physiotherapists and osteopaths working with active women in pelvic health or sport specialities. It's an advanced clinical course — not an introduction. You'll need to meet the prerequisites to apply.

What are the prerequisites?

You'll need to be a registered physio or osteo with a valid HCPC or GOsC number, hold appropriate professional insurance, be competent in digital vaginal assessments of the pelvic floor, and have experience working with active female patients. Proof of all of these is required at application stage.
