Pelvic Health Physio & Clinical Lead at Hatch
Aby is a specialist Pelvic Health Physio and Clinical Lead for Hatch Athletic and HATCH COACH. She's on a mission to bring Sports Medicine and Pelvic Health together.
She started her physiotherapy career over 11 years ago focusing on Sports Medicine, having been a track and field athlete competing at national level — working with athletes across a wide range of sports from recreational to elite, with her passion being the exercise rehabilitation aspect of care.
Aby's been teaching perinatal exercise rehabilitation to health and exercise professionals for the last 5 years, and works with patients all over the world who want her unique approach to navigating pregnancy and postpartum.
When she's not at her desk reading research or in clinic with a patient, you'll find her at the gym trying to become a CrossFitter, or at the park with her two energetic boys.

Your questions.
Where will the Workshop be held?
Our next Workshop is at Beyond Walls, Unit 40B, Lower Mount Farm, Cookham, Maidenhead SL6 9RF.
There's plenty of parking on site, so feel free to drive.
Future Workshops will be hosted at different gyms across the UK. Locations will always be shared on this page ahead of booking, so you'll know exactly where you're heading before you commit.
What time does the Workshop run?
The Workshop runs from 1.30pm to 4pm on Sunday 26 July. Doors open from 1.15pm so you've got time to settle in.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourself, some water, and a notebook if you like to scribble. Wear comfortable training kit, there will be practical elements. Aby will share any pre-reading or prep ahead of the day.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are non-refundable. If you can't make it, you're welcome to transfer your ticket to a colleague. Just drop us a message to let us know who's coming in your place.
Does this certify me to work with pregnant or postpartum women?
No. Hatch Academy is a CPD-style learning experience, not a certification. It's perfect as a taster, top-up or supplement to your existing qualifications. If you want to specialise properly, that's HATCH COACH.
Is this a good intro to HATCH COACH?
Yes. Workshops are a great way to spend time with Aby, get a feel for her teaching style, and see what working with the Hatch approach is like before committing to the full certification.
Who is this for?
Anyone who wants to do better by the women in their gym. Coaches, PTs, physios, clinicians, and the women themselves who train and want to learn. You don't need to be a specialist or be HATCH COACH certified to attend.
I'm a physio — can I come?
Yes, absolutely. Hatch Academy Workshops are designed for physios, PTs, fitness coaches, clinicians and anyone who works with women. Whether you want to build out your perinatal knowledge as a physio, or you're a coach who wants to better support female clients, you're in the right room.
Will Workshops be recorded?
Hatch Academy is in-person by design. The hands-on, in-the-room format is what makes it work. That said, recordings are something we're working on, so keep your eyes peeled.
